Laura-Jane White Contents Page Analysis

This is a single page contents page. It states clearly the name of the magazine (masthead) and the word 'contents' along with the date and issue number.
This also includes: a coll-um on the right hand side with features and sub-headings with references to page numbers  featured in the magazine.

Furthermore, it includes a main photo of an artist to see them perform and to meet and greet with a puff of 'WIN' which makes this eye-catching to the readers (Competition).

In the corner it includes advertisement for other companies or them self for people to subscribe or follow them on Twitter or Facebook.

Colour scheme: The colour scheme of this contents page matches the rest of the house style of the theme black, red, white and yellow.

This a single page contents page which is stated clearly with the name 'contents'. Also the masthead of the magazine 'Billboard' is featured small on the left side of the page.

This also includes: a coll-um on the left hand side related to artists songs/albums. Features and sub-headings with references to page numbers featured in the magazine are on the right hand side.

Furthermore it includes a main photo of an artist followed by 3 smaller images bannered across at the top with page numbers relating to them.

Colour scheme: The colour scheme of this contents page matches the rest of the house style of the theme white, black and blue.

For my music magazine I am going to consider the layout in which these 2 Content pages do above and the size of the images as I have realised that the biggest photo links to a big article such as a double page spread. I will also have to include basic layout styles such as: sub-headings, page numbers, photos and advertisement. For the advertisement I am going to create a Twitter and Facebook page so readers can connect with the magazine more. The house-style will still have to reflect throughout the whole magazine.
